Holly Nill-McKay was inspired with the clever concept of Fetal Greetings: Greetings from the Womb, while she was pregnant with her baby, Mia - born December, 1999. (photo on left is Holly 8 mos. pregnant with Mia on Halloween, 1999 as a mermaid carrying a clam shell with a very large 'pearl') "As you can see, I like to be unique so also wanted a creative way to tell all my friends and family that I was pregnant besides just calling them on the phone, like everyone does. Plus, I wanted a fun way to break the news to my husband besides just handing him the positive pregnancy test stick". So Fetal Greetings was "born"!
Holly's second child, a baby boy, was born August, 2001: Reece (shown in photo above). Holly comments, "I was so excited that I got to use my own Fetal Greetings Cards with this pregnancy! (I completed them too late to use for Mia). Everyone was so surprised and really loved the cards!
This is such a rewarding business in a personal sense because I'm working with customers during the most exciting time in their lives. They are all so happy and fun to correspond with. I love getting feedback about my cards from them and especially love keeping in touch with them after the birth when they send me updates and/or photos of their new little ones. What could be better than that?
